if we continue in the Europa league.
Not a kneejerk because of this match but just based on our depth of squad and lack of quality.
We have already had 3 sending's off. Our lack of experience in European football is obviously affecting the players and making them do rash things.
Already we have lost Obiang & Reid through injury with possibly O'Brien & Valencia as well. Include Carroll in that group and the squad looks very thin.
These European games have shown that the likes of Nolan, Jarvis & Maiga are lost causes and should not be anywhere near the first team.
My message to Bilic:
Play the fringe players and the youngsters in the 2nd leg and start preparing for Arsenal.
If we don't and continue in Europe I really fear we will be relegated this season.
We have no chance of winning the Europa league so let's bail now and concentrate on the league and one of the cups.
Screw Thursday nights.

Know your place and respect the point. Go for the draw-win or win-draw. Don't over step the mark (the half way line) and don't ever attack, that way you don't give the ball away (because you haven't got it) and you don't risk giving away goals (well not until the last minute).

Let's get knocked out and concentrate on the league as we stand a chance of winning that, we haven't ever won the league cup so no point trying in that, we haven't won the FA Cup in 35 years so no point trying in that one either. What we want to do is focus on the league so we can ensure all supporters get their money's worth each week as we only go to watch the opposition anyway.

What a load of negative bollocks that statement is.
It is time for our fans to start thinking positively and expect us to compete in Europe and in the Prem. What with this and the knicker wetters from last night and the naysayers and Bilic out brigade we have a right old buggers muddle.
Come on, support our team and start to expect that we can play good football and get good results.

I do worry slightly if we "throw" the Astra game and lose with our best line up away to Arsenal (very possible.) That will mean no wins in 4 competitive games and the discontent and lack of confidence might be telling in the games we have to win against Leicester and Bournemouth if we are going progress this year.

How do El sendings off effect the PL?
How are our players going to get European experience without playing in Europe?
Pretty sad we have so many fans seemingly happy to throw games, the same fans who slagged off the last manager for the same thing.

My attitude to it all is simple. If we go out, so be it. We shouldn't really be in the competion , as its ridiculous to reward fair play, by offering a place in a European competiton - give us some money instead.
That said, if we do progress, we should embrace it and enjoy the ride...lets be positive.
The worst thing about all of this (apart from the injuries), is the possiblity.of being knocked out by a Romainian pub side....but lets face it, were West Ham....fucking up is what we do best...

It looks like some people are scared of a bit of success or ambition.
What are we supposed to do, just never want to play in the Europe League? Try and bypass it completely and qualify for Champions League?
It's a privilege for a club like ours so lets try and enjoy it.
